PM Kindergarten Pick-Up and Drop-Off
We at Valley View are always on the lookout for our students' safety. We ask that you please use caution when driving in our Parking Lots.

NO parking is allowed on the yellow curb next to Kindergarten
It is for drop off only!
So, please plan to park on the street and walk your child to our front door. (The AM parents will be using the large parking lot to pick up their children at this time.)
Drop Off:
Once you and your child are comfortable with drop off, we would like parents to Drop Off your child along the yellow curb. Please pull all the way up along the K playground. He/She can hop out of your car and walk to our line on their own and take out the important papers out of their own backpack by themselves. I will be there to double check backpacks as well. (I teach the kids to look inside their backpacks before they line up everyday to foster independence.)
Our class lines up by the front door. You may arrive on campus starting at 10:50am. Please plan to stay with your child until you see me. The playground is NOT available at this time, as the AM class leaves through the back of the classroom.
PICK UP: DRIVE-UP SERVICE!
In the past the Kindergarten Pick Up has been very congested in the parking lot. Some parents would get out of their car and talk while parked in the yellow zone, instead of driving away with their Kindergartener after pick-up.
So if you choose to pick up your child in your car, please wait along the yellow curb inside your car.
Drive up to the gate for pick up when it is your turn. (Kind of like McDonalds, but instead of fries, you get a very special person!)
WALK-UP
Please wait outside of the playground fence for pick-up. We will line up along the fence and I will dismiss the kids through the gate as I see their parents or caregivers.
